“The success of every woman should be the inspiration to another. We should raise each other up. Make sure you’re very courageous: be strong, be extremely kind, and above all be humble.” — Serena Williams
Tennis is a lifetime sport that teaches lifelong skills. Racket + Hope aims to remove the physical and financial barriers to tennis by bringing instructional programmes directly to the children, helping them develop skills, values and relationships for future success.
Racket + Hope has a range of programs for students of all abilities and volunteers to help guide them on the path:
Core Curriculum: Brings tennis to children at Fulham’s South Park five evenings per week and three hours per day during summer holidays. Designed for children between ages four and eight, this is the entry level of the Racket + Hope — a set of programmes that give children the chance to learn the game of tennis through every stage and possibly have a career.
Advanced Programmes: Taught by LTA- and USTA-certified coaches, these programmes help more advanced players improve upon the skills they currently hold and prepares them for entry-level matches.
